Artist Bio

Lauren Cannon

Lauren Cannon is a Memphis native. She graduated from SMU with a BFA in painting and a minor in drawing. After working with kids here in Memphis, She moved to New Mexico to work with Georgia O'Keeffe's museum led program: Art and  Leadership for Girls. Later she returned to Memphis to complete a BFA in graphic design followed by a MAT in art education. She loves teaching, collaborating, creating, traveling, and hugging her four children.
